I have traveled around the country; U.S. and Canada for the most part. I have managed to travel to all 50 states and 7 of the 10 Canadian provinces and 1 of the 3 territories; Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Yukon (I decided to see my country first and then selected countries in the rest of the world as time allows)...

The summer of 1996 I did a quick self guided tour of some parts of Europe. I landed in Germany, Switzerland, France and England. Maybe I'll post a couple photos around here some day. In Europe I visited London (my favorite city over there), Munich, Zurich, and Paris.

Cities and other points of interest I have visited in North America are places like...

Banff, Lake Louise and Banff National Park, Jasper National Park (and glaciers), Calgary, Medicine Hat and Edmonton in the province of Alberta, Prince Rupert, Whistler, White Rock/Surrey, greater Vancouver, Mission Raceway Park, Victoria, Nanaimo, Campbell River, Port Hardy and the inside passage, Prince George, New Hazelton, Dease Lake, Osoyoos, Kelowna, Penticton, Golden, Castlegar, Nelson, Hope, etc. in the province of BC, Dawson City, Top of the World Highway and Whitehorse in the Yukon, Moose Jaw in Saskatchewan, Ottawa and Toranto in Ontario, Montreal in the province of Quebec, Saint John and Edmundston in New Brunswick, Digby, Annapolis Royal, Shelburne, Liverpool, Lunenburg, and Halifax in Nova Scotia just to name some memorable places in Canada.

Anchorage, Homer, Valdez, Seward, Fiarbanks, Danali Park, Skagway, Haines, Juneau and Ketchikan in Alaska.

Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Everett, Bellingham, Pacific Raceway, Olympia, Long Beach, Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Kingston, Bremerton, the Olympics, the San Juan Islands, Mt. St. Helens, Mt Rainier, ski areas like White Pass, Snoqualmie Pass, Stevens Pass, Mission Ridge and Mt Baker, Leavenworth, Chelan, Winthrop, Wenatchee, Yakima, Republic, Kettle Falls, Walla Walla, the Tri-Cities, Moses Lake, Spokane and Grand Coulee dam (just to name a few locals) in Washington.

Pendleton (were I was born), Portland and Portland International Raceway, Astoria, Salem, Eugene, the Columbia River Gorge, Mt Hood, Mt Bachelor, Crater Lake, Klamath Falls, Grants Pass, Medford, the Oregon Caves, the Snake River and Hell's Canyon, Bend, Redmond, Prineville, and nearly every town and beach on the Oregon coast in Oregon.

Highway 1 on the California coast, the Red Woods, Sears Point and Thunderhill Raceways, San Francisco and the old Candlestick Park, the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, Oakland, the BART, San Jose, Monterey and Laguna Seca Raceway, Yosemite, Tahoe, Heavenly Valley, Sacramento, El Dorado Hills, Stockton, Santa Barbara, Fresno, Los Angeles and the Queen Mary, Disney Land, Long Beach, San Bernardino, Death Valley, San Diego, Willow Springs International Raceway near Rosamond, Palm Springs, Joshua Tree Nation Park, etc. in California.

Boise, Coeur D'Alene, Sun Valley, Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry, Twin Falls, Pocatello, Idaho Falls, etc. in Idaho.

Great Basin NP, Reno, Las Vegas, etc. in Nevada.

Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Flagstaff, Walnut Canyon, Phoenix, Tucson, Page, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Petrified Forest NP and the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

Salt Lake City, etc., Snow Bird and Deer Park, Flaming Gorge, Bryce Canyon, Glen Canyon, Lake Powell, Rainbow Bridge and Arches, Canyon Lands, Capitol Reef and Zion Nation Parks in Utah.

Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Carlsbad, Raton, the NRA Whittington Center and the Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico.

El Paso, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston/Space Center and Glaveston in Texas.

Denver, Pikes Peak, Vail, Steamboat, Breckenridge, Copper Mt and the Air Force Academy in Colorado.

Yellow Stone Nation Park, Grand Teton Nation Park, Jackson Hole, Glacier Nation Park, and the Rockies plus Missoula, Butte, Bozeman, Billings, Kalispell, Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, Cheyenne, Sheridan, Buffalo, Gillette and the Devils Tower in Montana and Wyoming.

Fargo, Bismark, Medora and Teddy Roosevelt NP in North Dakota.

Spearfish, Deadwood, Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse memorials and Rapid City in South Dakota.

The Bad Lands, Lincoln, Omaha and Norfolk in Nebraska.

Minneapolis in Minnesota.

Milwaukee, the Harley Museum and Green Bay in Wisconsin.

Sioux City, Des Moines, Waterloo, Dubuque, Iowa City and Davenport in Iowa.

Rockford and Chicago (Willis Tower a.k.a. Sears Tower) in Illinois.

Inianapolis (and the 500), Gary and South Bend in Indiana.

Kansas City in Kansas/Missouri as well as St. Louis and the Arch in Missouri.

Evansville, Bowling Green (home of the Corvette Assembly Plant and Museum) and Mammoth Caves, Kentucky.

Cincinnati, Columbus, Toledo, Akron, and Mid-Ohio Raceway in Ohio.

Somerset, the Flight 93 Memorial, Philadelphia and the Liberty Bell, etc. in Pennsylvania.

New Orleans and a swamp tour in Louisiana.

Tallahassee, Tampa/St Petersburg, Fort Myers, the Everglades, Miami, Key West, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, Disney World in Orlando and NASA/Kennedy Space Center, Jacksonville, etc. in Florida.

Savannah, Charleston and Ft Sumpter in South Carolina.

Wilmington, Kitty Hawk, Duck, Raleigh and Charlotte in North Caroline.

Washington D.C. with all the museums, monuments, the Pentagon (the 9/11 memorial there) in D.C.

Various other historic places such as Fort McHenry (the Star Spangled Banner fort), Annapolis, Gettysburg, West Point, Baltimore, Yankee Stadium, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, the Twin Towers (before 9/11), the 9/11 Museum, the new One World Trade Center tower and you name it in New Jersey and New York City.

Likewise, Plymouth (Rock), Boston, MIT and Salem (MA), along with Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame on the east coast and "upstate NY".

Toss in a few more historic Civil War cities, etc. like Springfield, Richmond, Appomattox, Lynchburg, Roanoke and Norfolk Virginia, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Chimney Rock State Park, Knoxville, Nashville, Jackson, Chattanooga and Memphis (Tennessee), Birmingham Alabama, Little Rock (Arkansas), Oklahoma City and that just about covers the many places (and some I forgot about) that I have passed through in the USA. Glad they invented cars and air transportation.
