Question from my father: Are these allegations all really true?

Quit trashing Obama's accomplishments. He has done more than any other President before him.

Here is a list of his impressive accomplishments:

First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student then deny he was a foreigner.

Assuming you can believe Hawaii’s democrat head of their department of records he apparently was born in the U.S., so is not a foreigner. However, he has been reported as a student who applied for aid as a foreigner as he and his mother, who at one time was married to a foreigner in Jakarta, Indonesia, a predominately Muslim nation, lived abroad for 4 years before coming back to the U.S. It is possible he qualified for said aid due to his step-father at the time being a foreigner. So, technically, this may be a true statement.

First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.

You should be able to obtain a SS # from any SS office where you happen to be at the time. You do not receive it from the state. You receive it from the SS Administration set up by the U.S. Federal government.

First President to preside over a cut to the credit-rating of the United States.

Probably true. But only because the credit rating agency which cut the U.S. credit-rating has not been around as long as the U.S. has been a country (the U.S. has actually defaulted on its national debt a couple times when the country was quite young) and because it is a rather recent practice for the U.S. Congress to be so corrupt that they have been borrowing and spending money like drunken sailors for the past 30 or so years. This has finally resulted in an unbelievably risky and high debt situation which should have been stopped years ago... about the same time Obama took office at the very least. Instead he signed the stimulus bill as one of his first actions in office and he helped to open the door to way more debt and spending than any President should have allowed. His party is the primary reason for 70% of the debt that is currently on the books. In short he has done next to nothing to get Congress to reverse the situation. Rather than argue for stronger debt limits he has instead argued to have the limits increase without any questions asked. A fiscal conservative he is not and I doubt he cares if the credit-rating is harmed anyway. If he says he cares it is probably just one more of his lies.

First President to violate the War Powers Act.

True. When he ordered our armed forces to attack Libya he violated not only the War Powers Act but the U.S. Constitution. Congress should have impeached him on the spot. Instead all they did was debate the issue and allow it to pass w/o any repercussions because the Senate is to this day controlled by corrupt Democrats.

First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

Also true. He has repeatedly broken the law, violated the Constitution and ignored any possible sanctions any moral court has ordered against him. Eric Holder is his Attorney General puppet and refuses to uphold most Federal laws Obama and others in his administration have violated and has also broken several Federal laws on his very own. Birds of a feather flock together. Just two corrupt blacks giving black people a bad name for sure.

First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party.

Indirectly true once he signed the un-Affordable Care Act.

First President to spend a trillion dollars on "shovel-ready" jobs when there was no such thing as "shovel-ready" jobs.

Technically true also. The “shovel-ready” slogan is no more than just that, a slogan. It took years for any of the Federal money that was spent on various and usually ridiculous projects, such as thousands of traffic circles spread all over the country, or farcical "green" energy companies like Solyndra, to get the projects approved and reach contractors or cities or what have you so that the project managers and contractors could pocket 90% of the money and spend the other 10% on mostly union labor projects and/or their payrolls. It was a giant waste of Federal money that did little or nothing to stimulate the economy or create any jobs that did not already exist in 2008 or 2009 or even today. And it was all borrowed money boosting our national debt as well. Our tax revenue is spent before it is even collected and surely did not cover the cost of any “shovel-ready” jobs. However, once again, it was the Democrats who were in power at the time who actually passed the bill. It was Obama who signed it to allow it to go ahead. He and Pelosi and Reid get all the credit for that one... and for the “cash for clunkers” BS as well.

First President to abrogate bankruptcy law to turn over control of companies to his union supporters.

Hard to tell. But it was definitely a first in my book. Had GM, etc. simply been allowed to go into normal bankruptcy that might have stuck it to their many suppliers who were allowing the manufactures of autos to run the float in order to get their supplier contracts when the manufactures should never have been allowed to have such extensive floats to begin with. Some mismanaged union worker jobs and probably a few entire companies were saved by the government bailout. But the country would have been a lot better off in the long run if government would have allowed capitalism to punish bad behaviors and send a message that if you play with fire you will get burned. Instead people got off the hook and the expense was passed on to all the other U.S. tax payers who, sooner or later, will foot the bill

First President to by-pass Congress and implement the Dream Act through executive fiat.

True. Once again he should have been impeached.

First President to order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of illegal immigrants across the U.S., including those with criminal convictions.

Probably true. Once again he should have been impeached along with Janet Napolitano. I say probably only because deportations are still going on, but Obama and his dike Homeland Security boss (at the time), Janet Napolitano, cut a hell of a lot of illegals a great deal of slack which they do not deserve. Plus all the illegals who came out of hiding when this happened are now exposed should a future President ever want to round them up at the risk of losing the votes of a lot of illegal immigrant supports in this country. And they both violated Federal law (at least one law suit is pending) when they pulled this one off.

First President to demand a company hand over $20 billion to one of his political appointees.

Don’t know. But it would not surprise me. Obama likes to twist arms any chance he can get.

First President to tell a CEO of a major corporation (Chrysler) to resign.

Probably true. And he probably extorted him in the process.

First President to terminate America’s ability to put a man in space.

True, in that he has ordered NASA to cut costs and no longer send up any space shuttles, etc. This is one action I actually agree with though.

First President to cancel the National Day of Prayer and to say that America is no longer a Christian nation.

Whatever. Obama does like to kiss up to Muslims any chance he can get... see above.

First President to have a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.

Got me. Again nothing would surprise me with that guy.

First President to arbitrarily declare an existing law unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it.

Many times over. See above... and below.

First President to threaten insurance companies if they publicly spoke out on the reasons for their rate increases.

Same answer as the Chrysler COE. If you let him get away with it once he will try, try again. After violating Federal law and the Constitution this stuff is small potatoes.

First President to tell a major manufacturing company in which state it is allowed to locate a factory.

True, true, true and thanks to Holder, true. See above. But don’t forget he swore an oath to uphold the Constitution also and then he has broken that oath so many times I have lost count.

First President to withdraw an existing coal permit that had been properly issued years ago.

Only once? He has the EPA screwing with everyone and anyone any chance they can get. That’s what dick-tators are for.

First President to actively try to bankrupt an American industry (coal).

First President to fire an inspector general of AmeriCorps for catching one of his friends in a corruption case.

First President to appoint 45 czars to replace elected officials in his office.

Yep. He is the Czar of czars.

First President to golf more than 150 separate times in his five years in office.

They should award him several similar Genus records. I bet he has flown more miles on AF 1 too... even though he loves to lie about global warming. And he lies several times every time he gives a speech, which makes him the best liar so far as well.

First President to hide his birth, medical, educational and travel records.

True. I still think he did this so that Congress would wise up and amend the Constitution to force any future Presidential candidates to prove they should be able to hold office. But who really knows why he does what he does?

First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it.
