Charles Edgar Everett seen here with his wife Bertha (all us great grand kids
just called her great grandma Everett). As far as I (Charles K. Jessup) know I
was the last one to visit great grandma a day or two before she died all alone in
her little farm house in Klamath Falls, OR. I was passing through on my
motor cycle on my way to Reno to visit my mom and Ray and I had stopped for the
night to visit with her and see how she was doing (which didn't seem
to be too good that time). I remember how she
always cried when we would visit and then have to move on. She was the
best and only great grandmother I ever had. I never really remembered
great grandpa Charles (whom I guess I was named after) as he passed away
when I was too young.
