Professional Interests and Achievements

Currently retired after working many years as a server and eventually working for Champion Hanes (which is/was part of Sara Lee Corporation), near Troutdale, OR, as a Retail Clerk.

In the past I have worked as a waitress at the Wheel Cafe in Chemult, OR, the Pelican Cafe in Klamath Falls, OR, the M & M Restaraunt in Gresham, OR, Heidies in Boring, OR, Harrah's in Reno, NV, then at Elmer's Pancake House in Gresham, OR, and Saylor's Old Country Kitchen in Portland, OR.

I also owned and operated Stone Road Antiques from 1979 to 1984.

Personal Interests and Achievements

Went to grade school in La Pine, OR and attended Gilchrist High School. I graduated from high school in 1951.

I married Cap Thomas Jessup on March 3, 1951. We gave birth to a son, Charles Kenneth Jessup, and two daughters, Carolyn Gwenn Jessup and Connie Jane Jessup. See the links to my children for more information.

I was divorced from Cap in December of 1969. I later married Raymond Marshall Miller on August 13, 1971. He died on July 10, 1989.

More/Misc Info About Myself

I enjoyed collecting antiques and art work. Until I got too old I liked swimming, dancing, and traveling. Have taken five very interesting cruises; the Caribbean (twice), Panama Canal, Alaska, and the Mediterranean. Also enjoyed my trips to Arkansas, Washington, D.C., the east coast and New York City, and Hawaii four times.

I was born South West of Leslie in Woolum, Arkansas and lived there until we moved to Bend and later to La Pine, OR (through the 7th grade). Then after mom and dad divorced and mom married Bud Capps we all moved to Gilchrist, OR where I finished Jr and senior high school. I was married to Cap Jessup my senior year. After the war Cap and I lived in Klamath Falls, Pendleton, and eventually Gresham, Oregon. After divorcing Cap and marrying Ray we moved to Reno, NV and back to Gresham in 1974. We later moved near Boring, OR until after Ray passed away. I then resided in Fairview, OR and passed away due to natural causes of old age at 12:50pm on 02/15/2021 while residing in the Gladstone, OR.
